The Pennsylvania Economy League completed this study of the finances and economics of Pittsburgh arts organizations for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. The study addresses four issues. They are the economic impact of the arts on Pittsburgh, the financial health of arts organizations, government support of and taxes on the arts, and private support of the arts. The goal of the study is to identify the tangible benefits the arts bring to Pittsburgh and the cost of the arts for Pittsburgh.
