September 28 Event to Explore How the Arts Can Advance Business Interests
Thursday, September 24, 2015
More than ever, businesses are using the arts to inspire employees, stimulate innovation, and foster creative collaboration. The Arts & Business Council of New York (ABC/NY), a non-profit division of Americans for the Arts, today announced an engaging panel presentation and networking event, The Power of Arts and Business Partnerships, held on Monday, September 28, 2015, at Thomson Reuters.
Panelists representing UNIQLO, The Museum of Modern Art, TD Bank, WIX, and moderated by Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation will explore how the arts are used to advance business interests while having a positive social impact—whether its developing a creative product line, strengthening arts in the community, engaging employees and customers, or sharing a business message in new ways. ABC/NY is presenting this event in partnership with the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, Thomson Reuters, and Crain's New York Business.
ABC/NY, which spearheaded the arts and business partnership movement in the United States, is celebrating its 50th year of fostering and building closer ties between business and the arts in the New York City area. Through programs like the NY Business Volunteers for the Arts, Diversity in Arts Leadership Program, and Emerging Leaders of New York Arts, ABC/NY works with a wide variety of corporations and firms to offer a menu of opportunities for employee engagement with the arts.
