Placed on the site of the first golf course in Denver to admit African-American players, the artist Douglas Kornfeld seeks to stimulate a dialog about symbols and how they affect our perception of diversity, stereotypes, and identity through his sculpture Meeting of Minds.

Meeting of Minds was recognized by Americans for the Arts Public Art Network (PAN) Year in Review which annually recognizes outstanding public art projects that represent the most compelling work for the year from across the country.
