Ned Kahn’s 12- story, wind-driven kinetic light sculpture, Firefly, is installed as part of one of San Francisco’s greenest buildings, the new Public Utilities Commission (PUC) headquarters, which achieved LEED Platinum certification.

Firefly was recognized by Americans for the Arts Public Art Network (PAN) Year in Review which annually recognizes outstanding public art projects that represent the most compelling work for the year from across the country.
