This video is about artist James Turrell's The Color Inside, a Skyspace commissioned by Landmarks for The University of Texas at Austin. The project is located on the rooftop deck of the Student Activity Center on The University of Texas at Austin campus. Landmarks commissioned the Skyspace in response to students' desires for a space where they could relax and escape the academic rigors of college life. The video is narrated by Lynn Herbert, former senior curator at the Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston.

The Color Inside was was recognized by Americans for the Arts Public Art Network (PAN) Year in Review which annually recognizes outstanding public art projects that represent the most compelling work for the year from across the country.
