Americans for the Arts congratulates State Arts Action Network (SAAN) member Anne Katz, Executive Director of ArtsWisconsin, on being selected for the third class of the National Arts Strategies’ (NAS) Chief Executive Program. The NAS Chief Executive Program helps leaders explore, reflect, apply and share concepts that address the two biggest challenges for cultural institutions – making strategic choices that are on-mission and leading change. Anne and 49 other executives from around the country and around the world will work with NAS and each other over the next fourteen months to address their biggest challenges and lead change throughout the arts and culture sector.

Anne has lead ArtsWisconsin since 1995 and is a long time SAAN member. In 2010, she received Americans for the Arts Alene Valkanas State Arts Advocacy Award for her advancement of the importance art and creativity for all Wisconsin residents.
