Arts and culture nonprofits in the state of Nevada generated a staggering $471 million in economic activity in 2015, according to a recent economic impact study by Americans for the Arts. The study, titled Arts and Economic Prosperity 5, collected data from 341 study regions nationwide. The Nevada Arts Council served as a partner for the state, and Reno Public Radio sat down with Interim Executive Director Linda Ficklin to discuss the study results.
