Americans for the Arts and ArtsMemphis will host the annual National Arts Marketing Project (NAMP) Conference in Memphis, Tennessee, November 10-13, 2017. The largest gathering of arts marketers in the country, the conference is a critical forum for arts groups to discuss the rapidly changing demographics and behaviors of U.S. consumers, as well as how arts and culture organizations can remain relevant in the era of consumer control. 
More than 60 marketing experts will lead 30+ educational sessions, tackling the topics of digital marketing, social media, audience engagement, data and analytics, revenue generation, and innovation. The conference also features two preconferences on Friday, November 10, including a creative problem-solving and empathy boot camp, and an intensive on how to empower marketing through expert storytelling. 
Keynote speakers include:
  • Luba Tolkachyov, co-founder and Managing Partner of Gravity Media; and Rodrigo Alanis, Global Strategist at Gravity Media; November 11, 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Tolkachyov and Alanis will kick off the conference with a keynote advising marketers on consumer service, strategic communications, and practices for implementing diversity into marketing campaigns. 
  • Alton Fitzgerald White, actor, dancer, singer; November 12, 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Fitzgerald White will deliver a keynote titled “The Secrets to Creative Fulfillment,” a celebration of the dedication and joy that creative people can bring to their work and life.
  • Sam Mallikarjunan, author, Harvard professor, and growth marketing expert; November 13, 10:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Mallikarjunan will close the conference with a keynote exploring how strategizing content and engagement creates successful marketing.
