Americans for the Arts partnered with The Conference Board to conduct this survey which examines trends in business support and employee engagement for the arts. The survey draws on 125 responses from companies of all sizes that participate in corporate philanthropy, employee engagement, volunteer programs, or sponsorships.

This webinar, a collaboration between the Arts Education and Private Sector Initiatives staff at Americans for the Arts, will focus on successful partnerships between the arts education field and businesses. We will focus on partnerships that go beyond "writing checks", and delve into how our participants might approach businesses and encourage them to support and become involved in arts education advocacy and programming.

This webinar will focus on organizations and groups seeking to engage businesses by engaging their employees through the arts. Employee engagement is an increasingly important strategy in the business world to boost efficiency, stimluate creative thinking, increase morale, and more. What better way to do this than through the arts? We'll hear from two leaders in the country about the various ways arts organizations can enhance the experience of business employees through the arts, and build better partnerships between the arts and business sectors as a result.

Presenters:

Arts partnerships are often where you least expect it, though sometimes that ends up being right in front of your nose. We know about the power of connections through things like the Arts and Healthcare, the Arts and Tourism, etc., but what about the Arts and...Arts?

Do you want to become more involved in the arts in New York City? Interested in using your skills to make an impact in a creative field?

Join the Arts & Business Council of New York (ABC/NY), along with arts organizations from across the city, for an evening of volunteer matching in the arts! We will feature all types of volunteer opportunities from disciplines including dance, theater, music, and visual arts.

The arts have always had the power to excite people, but how can we tap into the arena of avid sports spectators to increase that energy even more?
